I went to see them race in Newport, and it was absolutely mind blowing.
Newport’s full of big boats, but these were at least twice the size of anything else in the Harbor, and you could see them racing from miles away. Like, I could sit at Brenton Point Park and see them racing wayyy off Jamestown. And their masts were so high that I could bike like half a mile inland and still watch them coast into the harbor.
It was practically magical.
